
Dominant Legs are a band that I previously put on my ‘to write about’ list last summer, but somehow that never happened. Seeing a tumblr post today from Hype Machine reminded me of them, and I promptly went back and revisited their track Clawing Out At The Walls, my perfect hangover cure, taken from their EP Young at Love and Life.
This is classic delicate & nostalgic indie pop. With the boy / girl vocals, buzz band of the moment Cults may spring to mind as a comparison. But Ryan Lynch (who has an association with the band Girls) and Hannah Hunt have been at it much longer.
