We’re taking on a slight change of pace with this Weekend’s Tunage, and a step back to 2006. An album that I’ve gone back to over the past few weeks is Midlake’s The Trials of Van Occupanther, a classic no frills indie/folk rock album. ‘Young Bride’ is my hands down favorite. Before there was Fleet Foxes, Midlake were top of the pile for me – turn this up, it’ll ease your weekend into goodness.
