Friends have produced one of my favorite songs of the year, ‘I’m His Girl’ is a throwback jam calling out independence in relationship, along with a bassline that will seep into your soul.
Signed to Lucky Number (home to our other fun pop go-to Darwin Deez), Friends are a refreshing addition to any music library if you have an appreciation for funk-pop. Not to be confused with the no defunct tv show (!) this Brooklyn band rise to the top of the already saturated pool of new bands coming out for the NY borough in the past year.
