So The Clink is going on tour – to Stradbally. Yes, I got my ticket – not from one of the many competitons I entered (13 in all) but still on the cheap. In honour of the big weekend ahead there is not one, but two tunes to fill our weekly slot, and hopefully they will help keep Lucia and I sane while we’re stuck in work.
The first comes from Lucia – it’s a cover of Kelly Clarkson’s Since You’ve Been Gone performed backstage at The o2 by Mark Ronson and Florence Welch. Florence is of course playing this Sunday in EP – and we are all looking forward to it.
So my pick for this week comes from another EP artist – The XX are due to play on Saturday, and here is their current release, Crystalised. Enjoy!
